Wee Ones Babysitting or "WOB" is a new babysitting service set up to match highly qualified

babysitters to meet parents' babysitting needs. In need of some consulting help, WOB has

contacted you to help them understand their current business processes.

Your task is to create:

A Level$-0$ Logical Data Flow Diagram $($Between $3-5$ processes$)$

Here's a description of their business:

Parents need to register to become a WOB Family. To register, they need to submit a

completed registration form and registration fee. The registration forms are checked and family

data from the completed forms are entered into the Family File. Info from the registration fee,

including payment amount, is recorded in the Payment File. A registration approval or

incomplete registration notification is returned to the parent.

Individuals interested in becoming WOBs submit an application including references. To

process the applications, references are checked and a decision to approve or reject the WOB

applicant is made. For approved WOB applicants, his$/$her personal information is updated in the

WOB Sitter File. All WOB applicants are notified via email of the decision results.

To coordinate a job match, requested job info $($including date$/$time$)$ from the parent and

schedule availabilities from the WOB Sitters are matched. To facilitate this process, any info

available on the requesting family $($from the Family File$)$ and any info on potential WOB Sitters

$($from the WOB Sitter File$)$ are checked. A list of available and suitable WOB Sitters is sent to

the parent for review. When a parent sends back their ranked list of WOB sitters for the job, the

job decision match is finalized. The final matched job info is updated in the Job File. The job

info $($specifically date$/$time$/$special requests$),$ stored family info, and a blank post$-$job family $.$

evaluation form are sent to the chosen WOB sitter. A confirmation, including the chosen WOB

Sitter's info and a blank post$-$job sitter evaluation form are sent to the parent.

After the job, the parent submits job payment and the completed post$-$job sitter eval form.

The WOB Sitter submits a completed post$-$job family eval form. The Family File is updated

with any comments from the WOB Sitter's post$-$job family eval form and the WOB Sitter File is

updated with any comments from the parent's post$-$job sitter eval form. Data on the WOB

agency's percentage of the job payment is recorded in the Payment File and the WOB Sitter's

payment, along with a job summary from the parent's eval form is sent out. The Job File is

updated with a closed status.
