DISCUSSION ASSIGNMENT UNIT 02 Each post is required to be a minimum of two paragraphs long (a paragraph is defined as at ]e_ast three complete sentences), be related to the topic, be in students' own words, and add omethmg new to the discussion (do not just restate what someone else said previously; also, saying \"Great post! is nice, but would not fulfill the requirements). You must write in your own words\".{lo' not copy word-for-word from the textbook or from other students or other sources. Treat this like a classroom discussionyou should strive to include information that ADDS TO the discussion rather than merely repeats what is already there. This means you should read what has already been posted for a given topic. Answer the following question for the court opinion you choose to discuss: "What do you think the court (judges) wants us to remember about this case?" In order to write a full 2 paragraphs, you will need to identify the court's \"Issue\" and "Holding" and also explain the court's "Reasoning" (how it decided on its Holding). The first assignment in Unit 01 contains a "Case Brief" during which you will learn how to identify the court's Issue, Holding, and Reasoning, and I also cover this in the first chapter slides. I suggest that you draft your response in a document that you can edit and save to your computer. When you are ready to post your assignment, follow these instructions: 1) Click on "Reply" below this description, 2) Include the case name at the top of your response so readers will know right away which case you are discussing 3) Copy-and-paste the text of your previously drafted response into the text area.
