Do we think that the recent turmoil of the global banking sector- collapse or near collapse faced by Silicon Valley, First Republic, Signature Bank or Credit Suisse -will have any effect of Canadian Banking? Do we have to fear the collapse of any Banks in Canada?

In my opinion, I believe that generally people are becoming fearful, losing confidence in the banking sector and are panicking causing them to withdraw their funds from the Banks which have caused the collapse or near collapse of the above-mentioned Banks. However, I think that people have more confidence in the Canadian Banks because they are more heavily regulated, they have put things in place to ensure stability and most of all they survived the 2008 recession.
