1. Don Engle is a tenant under a one (1) year lease with The Meadows Apartments Community in Denton, Texas. The Community, as clearly stated in its lease agreements, does not allow pets of any kind? After one month into his tenancy, Engle suffers a home invasion in which he is brutally beaten and left for dead in his apartment. After a thirty (30) day hospital recovery, Engle returns to his apartment with Killer, an 85 lb. high energy pit bull, as his service dog. Don has limited mobility due to nerve damage in his right leg that he suffered in the attack. One day, though somewhat restrained by Don despite his disability, the animal viciously tried to attack Don's next-door neighbor the first day on the premises, tearing the neighbor's pants but not breaking the skin. 
2. The neighbor complained to management. The Community management immediately notified him that he was in violation of his Lease (TAA) and that he has twenty-four (24) hours to abate the violation. The next day, he provides the landlord's agent a letter signed by Dr. R.U. Sure, M.D. (Don's cousin) that discloses that Don is suffering from PTSD, anxiety disorder and other trauma-induced phobias and that a service dog is medically necessary. The leasing agent asks for proof that the dog is registered as a service dog. Don informs the agent that the animal has not been registered and that there is no requirement to do so. The Community continues to insist that the violation be abated, citing state law and Denton's municipal dangerous-dog ordinance and his neighbors' concern for their physical safety. Don receives a notice to vacate the next day. 
3. What rights, if any, does Engle have under federal, state or city laws? The Community? Discuss fully.
