2. The combustor of a Pratt and Whitney PW-4090 turbofan can be approximated by steady flow through a frictionless duct with constant diameter of 0.284m. At the inlet to the combustor, the flow is at M=0.6,p=44.7kPa, and T=283K. Heat is transfered to the flow by combustion of fuel added to the flow at a fuel-to-air mass ratio f=0.068. Assuming that the combustion is uniform throughout the duct, and that the combustion products have the same properties as ideal air, determine (a) The speed (m/s), stagnation pressure (kPa), and stagnation temperature (K) at the inlet. (b) The total amount of heat transfer (J/kg) to themally choke the flow. (c) The fuel mass-flow rate (kg/s) and the heating value (J/kg) of the fuel required to themally choke the flow
