Drake and his friends are university students who have just finished their end of year exams. They decide to go to a local bar, the Mouse and Pigeon, to celebrate. The bar is packed with students and, as Drake moves through the crowd with his friends looking for a place to sit, he accidentally bumps into Terrence. This knocks the drink out of Terrence's, who then turns around, demanding to know who is responsible. A scuffle brakes out, and Terrence pushes Drake's friend Adonis to the ground and starts kicking him. Drakes grabs a bottle of wine from a nearby table and hits Terrence in the face with it. The bottle breaks, severely injuring him. Terrence is rushed to a hospital where emergency surgery is done on one of his eyes. Terrence now only has partial vision in that eye, and wants to claim damages from Drake.
