Anglers Paradise (AP) is a fishing resort on Fulton river in British Columbia, Canada. Nearby Fulton lake has become a popular tourist spot in recent years, and to attract more of the tourist dollars, AP hosts a fishing derby on the river twice a year. Anglers from all over the world participate to catch the fish that will win one of 3 prizes: 1st - $5000, 2nd $3000, and 3rd - $1500. The promoters of the derby have been using a spreadsheet to keep track of the data, but the records have become very untidy and depending on the season, sometimes data is not recorded or recorded incorrectly. A database is needed to keep track of each derby by season and start date, all participating anglers, each fish caught, who caught the fish, and the winners of the prizes. Participation in the derby is by invitation only; to receive an invitation, you must have been referred by a past participant of the derby. Current records show that first name, last name, country, and phone are recorded for each angler. For judging the best catch, type, length, and weight are recorded. All prize winners are identified for each derby hosted. Although anglers have found that the river is quite a challenge, at least one prize is always given.
