An NFL player has a unique NFLID, a name, a position and a salary. Each player plays for
exactly one team. A team has many players but may have no players (like in a new NFL
team before the draft). Each team has a unique name, a home city, a salary cap and an
owner.
Employees (EmplD, Name, HourlyRate) work in only one of our several warehouses.
Each warehouse has several employees and always at least 5 employees (remember, we

Certified, Inc. offers employers a variety of benefits for themselves and their
dependents. An employee might have no dependents or may have several. No

two general attributes for each entity (Employee and Dependent).
A student may earn many scholarships though not every student earns a scholarship.
Every scholarship is only goes to a single student. Students have a StudentID, Name and
GPA. Scholarships all have a unique name, an endowment amount and a reward
duration (Spring 2018, Fall 2019, etc). An endowment is the amount of money given to
support scholarships. Typically that money is never touched, and scholarship rewards
come from the interest earned from that original amount.
Our veterinarian clinic sees many dogs and their owners. These dogs all have a single
owner. We need to capture the owner's name and address and the dog's name, breed
and disposition. When an owner leaves our clinic we get rid of all the associated dog
data. Owners have at least one dog but could have several dogs.
