During a storm, Oberon sees from the shore that there is an expensive boat adrift in the river. The boat is being broken apart by the strong current and will soon sink if nothing is done immediately. Furthermore , it is difficult to tell from the shore who owns the boat. After expending much effort and several hours work, Oberon is able to steer the boat to a safe harbor. Although damaged by the storm, the valuable boat is still seaworthy and can be repaired.
