Each group will be assigned with a particular business functional area where a certain process will be identified and used in this project. The identified process for improvement is the result of the first stage of process identification. In general, this project is about simulating the BPM Lifecycle. In simulating a business functional area, it has to be associated with one local business organization in the Kingdom of Bahrain or you may use a hypothetical business organization. The project will be performed with the application of the BPM Lifecycle with the requirements listed below in the Project Outline. Project Components Description: - Business Background (Briefly describe the business organization. This should provide an overview of what is its nature, the type of business, its core functions (production, manufacturing, marketing, service, others), and what does it produce and what market does it serve? - Problem Description (Concisely describe the current business situation in particular that will be used by the project team to understand the problem and work toward developing a solution.) - The Existing Manual Process or As-is Process Model. (The existing process how they conduct the operation in graphical form. You may use any process model to picture out the current process or operation.) The information that you need must include all the elements of BPM pertaining to the business problem and shown in the As-is process model. - Analyze and evaluate the As-is process model (based on your identified process) and develop the required outputs based on BPM Lifecycle.
