The company our group has chosen is The United States Postal Service also known as "USPS".As a company USPS faces many challenges. We plan to create a few systems that would address those challenges. For example, USPS struggles with friendly store hours, package complaints and package delivery/receiving. We believe that an AI encompassing Kiosk/system at each branch/location that helps with small tasks could go a long way. This system will collect customer/recipient information, weigh and take dimensions of packages, and allow forms of payment. Many of us have waited in long lines at USPS stores, many of the processes aren't quick and most of the time is spent collecting information from customers and connecting them with the right people to help serve them. All of the requests submitted through this system will have to be approved by an employee. This adds assurance to the AI system.

Another area of improvement we noticed is online customer service. We believe that introducing an AI generated customer service personnel or third party could help reduce the havoc with their online website. This addition could ease the foot traffic jams in the store and the unfriendly store hours that the customers complain about. Having a third-party courier that partners with USPS that has a shared cloud or access to the same system could help as well. Customers could go to these locations for USPS services too. Overall, these changes allow for a more accessible courier option.These solutions will also address staffing and employee's shortages.
