Employers have a responsibility to ensure their employees are engaged. A survey conducted by (Seijts and Crim 2006), The survey involved about 85,000 people who worked full-time for large and mid-sized firms; it found only 14 percent of all employees worldwide were highly engaged in their job. For example, Mexico and Brazil have the highest percentages of engaged employees, while Japan and Italy have the largest percentages of disengaged employees. It is up to the employers to ensure their employees are engaged
