Entity Relationship Diagram

Draw an ER diagram (in the Chen-like model) depicting this scenario. Include entities, attributes, relationships and structural constraints. Denote any primary candidate keys. Do not make assumptions or add anything to the scenario.

Write the structured English for one entity, include the English for two and only two attributes of different types and a key. Additionally, write the structured English for every relationship in the diagram.

Map everything to a relational database. Mapping MUST include showing the relationships.

Store the location, name and, business license number of a Wearhouse.

The Wearhouse contains many items of merchandise

Each item has a name and a barcode

Only items in the Wearhouse will be stored in the database

Items must be made by a manufacturer, but can be made by more than one manufacturer

Each manufacturer may make many items

We need to know the manufacturers name and address (street, city, state, zip) and phone number. We would like to be able to sort the manufacturer by city and state as needed.

Due to Union rules, we use one trucking company to ship our merchandise to customers. We will not store any data on customers.

We need our trucking companys business number, phone number and name.
