Irene Rosenfeld, the CEO of Kraft Foods, knew that Kraft was in trouble when she came back in $2006.$ Although Rosenfeld wasn't sure she could turn the company around, she energized employees by encouraging them with the slogan "Let's Get Growing!" and publicly celebrating employee successes. As a result, employees felt more positive about both Rosenfeld and the company, and soon Kraft was on the road to recovery. Ronald Williams wants to be CEO of Caterpillar one day. For now, he is working hard as an associate engineer, learning as much as he can from more experienced employees and going to school at night. He doesn't have as much time as he'd like to spend with his friends, but he's willing to make this short$-$term sacrifice for long$-$term gains.
