feedback on this The quality of a research research article is not directly related to the quality of evidence. The quality of a research article can be described as qualitative, in that it depends on several different characteristics such as, the type of study design (Meta-analysis/systematic review, randomized control trials, case control studies, etc. ), a well defined literature search with clearly listed inclusion/exclusion criteria with appropriate sample sizes and associated outcome measures, addressed risk of bias and a strong peer review process, are some of the vital parts that make up and influence a high quality research article. On the other hand, the quality of evidence depends on quantitative characteristics such as measurements of statistical analysis that correlate with validity and reliability of data, which in turn speaks to the strength of data, therefore providing high quality evidence. Specific tests of statistical analysis can provide precise information and give insights to how strongly the data pool of different variables reflect outcomes
