The CEO reminds you of the Legionnaires outbreak at an Atlanta hotel that led to a temporary closure of the hotel and numerous lawsuits against the hotel for failing to adopt or follow a water management plan to prevent the spread of the Legionella bacteria. The CEO is worried the same could happen if they do not provide a standard of care that a guest or staff would reasonably expect in terms of safety and services during their visit at the hotel.
