Finance and controlling re two sides of the same coin: the financial performance of an organization. Without finance, we would not have a business and without controlling, we would not necessarily know how to run it. Both are still functional areas that require deep skills and experience. Question: Could technologies such as blockchain and cryptocurrencies along with artificial intelligence eventually automate finance (and by association controlling) to a point where they run completely without human involvement?
