For the purpose of this discussion, determine what you will measure to evaluate the outcomes of the quality improvement project. After the completion of this assignment the student will be able to:

• Establish already proven evidence-based measures from the literature (ie. structure, process, outcomes) to evaluate the outcomes of the quality improvement project;
• Develop a plan for measuring the outcomes of a quality improvement project and how the data will be collected, displayed, etc.;
• Discuss how the selected measures will determine if the desired goals were met; and to
• Devise a plan for how the outcomes will be disseminated to the stakeholders (ie. team, leadership, organization, community).
