For this assignment, you are to observe people in their natural settings. You are to smile at strangers and record their responses (try to pick a variety of genders,ages, and attractiveness). You should aim to smile at a minimum of 20 strangers. I know this will be a difficult assignment for some of you, and if you have severe social anxiety you can have a family member or friend do it instead. Your post should describe what kind of responses that you elicited and the frequency of these responses. Did you notice a difference with men/women/attractive/unattractive/old/young/same culture/different culture/ etc? You should aim for at least two paragraphs and mention anything that you found surprising.
