For this discussion I wanted to focus on how shopping behavior has changed for consumers worldwide. For example, at the beginning of the pandemic shoppers were buying items in huge quantities like toilet paper, masks and hand sanitizer. To follow up on that example, shoppers were increasing the number of items they bought and decreasing the amount of trips they made to the store. Furthermore, this led to the expansion of the digital marketplace more than we've ever seen.
Has consumer behavior changed forever or just until things return to "normal"?
What can brands or stores do/what have they done well during the pandemic to aid consumers in their shopping experiences?
