For this reflective assignment, you will connect with, and interview an addictions counseling professional, such as a supervisor, coworker, etc. at your internship site (or elsewhere) and ask them to tell you about an ethical dilemma that they have dealt with during their counseling practice with clients with substance use disorders. Please ensure that the dilemma is specific to a client with a substance use disorder. Using the outline below, students will reflect on the experience and process the information gathered during the interview.
