Butanal (C4H8O), which is used to make laundry detergents, is synthesized by the reaction of propylene (C3H6) with CO and H2 according to the reaction: C3H6+CO+H2C4H8O In an existing process, Fpkmol/h of propylene (P) is mixed with FMkmol/h of a mixture containing equimolar quantities of CO and H2 and with a recycle stream containing propylene and then fed to a reactor, where a single-pass conversion for propylene of Xsp% is achieved. The desired product butanal (B) is removed in one stream, unreacted CO and H2 are removed in a second stream, and unreacted propylene is recovered and recycled. Calculate the production rate of butanal and the flowrate of the recycle stream (kmol/h) and the flowrates and compositions of all other streams. At the end of your calculations, create a table and give the total molar flowrate of each stream including the unlabeled stream that goes into the reactor and the % molar composition of the components in each stream.
