Geesoo, a very popular singer-actress, was under a two-year contract with BP Entertainment to star exclusively in the latter's film Snow Flakes. Under the contract, Geesoo was prohibited to star in any film produced by another producer. Immediately after Geesoo started filming, Twice Film Co. offered Geesoo to join their company by giving her a more attractive salary package with benefits. Geesoo accepted the offer and transferred to Twice Film Co. BP Entertainment sued Twice Film Co. for damages.
