The National Football League is a company that I am familiar with as I watch football most Sundays. The NFL's marketing strategy is to appeal to everyone but mainly the youth. Their goal is to show the players for who they are so people know them. But by appealing to the youth, it will continue to grow by keeping kids interested in playing while they're young from peewee football through college and hopefully beyond. They have a separate channel on most Mondays that is connected to Nickelodeon which has their own NVP from that game and the player who wins it get slimed just like on Nickelodeon's award shows They have different graphics when players score a touchdown and other things to keep kids entertained. The NFL also markets themselves by each team selling apparel year-round and coming out with new sideline gear every year that the players wear. Another way the NFL is marketing themselves is by going overseas and playing games in London this year and past years. They are also playing games in Mexico and Germany to expand the game to a world market and not just America.

The NFL's pricing strategy is a little weird as each team charges different prices for tickets at each stadium and changes throughout the year especially depending on how good each team is doing. For the apparel though the NFL has a partnership with Nike so whatever normal Nike hoodies are priced at that is normally the price. The price will go up however during certain months when the NFL does Crucial Catch in helping catching cancer and the Salute to Service in honoring the Military. Some of the apparel that comes out is normally priced a little higher sometimes because it is a limited drop during normally only that month.

The NFL is all over the internet between the players having their own accounts across all social media platforms which helps connects the players to the fans like no other. Each NFL team has a social media team that runs and posts through every platform, but the NFL has its own accounts as well that also promotes the league itself and every team.

Target over the last few years has changed how we see its stores and made it an experience on every trip. Rick Gomez the chief marketing director says that their marketing strategy is simple they started a campaign called "Target Runs!" That compels people to shop at our store for everyday shopping and have a sense of joy in their stores. Target has designed its stores to feel magical with products created for consumers to purchase.

Target does offer competitive pricing on daily household items, but they differentiate itself from discount stores by offering higher-end products. For example, you can get cleaning products at the same price as Walmart but if you got to buy a shirt the markup in price is notable. They are profiting from having you go into their stores for a quick run but then they catch your eyes on products from designers.

They have a very polished website that mimics the way its store feels, very clean and inviting. The target website is very user-friendly and it also has a mobile-friendly layout where consumers can easily look up any products and purchase.
