In the TxBESS Framework, highlight descriptors in the developmental continuum that best describe John’s performance. Review the text you highlighted for each standard in the developmental continuum and the corresponding section on the Data Summary. Highlight proficiency level “D”, “C”, or “P”. When a performance level is considered to be developing, check the element of the standard that makes it so. Please keep in mind that the middle two categories of the developmental continuum (beginning and advanced competent) are combined on the Data Summary. Any performance standard marked competent or proficient does not require a check.
