Good afternoon. I am trying to answer the following regarding how T-tests allow us to compare two means to determine if there is a significant difference. The teacher says the simplicity of t-tests makes them one of the most popular analyses for basic psychological research.

I need to design two psychological studies that are best analyzed via a t-test. Each of my studies should utilize a different type of t-test.

For each study, I need to explain the design, groups, randomization procedure, dependent variable, and independent variable. In addition, I need to highlight the type of measurement scale for each dependent variable. Then I need to explain why a t-test would be the most appropriate analysis for my research design.

This is very difficult for me to understand. Please help!
