Grandma Ditzy, when younger, was very bright and worked as an investment advisor. Grandma now suffers from age-related dementia, but still has days where she is very sharp. Her worried children put a guardianship in place for Grandma, with her daughter as guardian. On one of her sharp days, Grandma negotiates a very good price and contracts to have her house re-roofed. The roofer, unhappy with the price, goes to the bar and has 3 Long Island Ice Tea drinks. Feeling pretty buzzed, he drives to the Ford dealership and buys a new truck he really can't afford. On the way home, still buzzy from the drinks, he pulls his neighbors car out of the ditch. He does this on his own, even though the service is valued at $200.00. Grandma won't follow through on the contract, Ford won't take the new truck back, and the neighbor refuses to pay anything on having the car towed. Discuss and Decide.
