Greetings! For this week's Discussion Thread we will focus on Product and Service Designs. In Chapter 4 you learned about the process and challenges companies have when developing new products for their customer base. In Chapter 5 you learned how companies deliberately design their Service offerings. For this discussion, we will focus exclusively on Service Design. You are to present a service that you have recently purchased or experienced and explain what attribute you enjoyed about the service. What are your thoughts on why the company designed the service the way they did and what were they hoping to accomplish? Be as detailed as possible by observing all aspects of the service delivery process.
