Two charged plates of surface potential 50 mV are brought together in a 0.01M NaCl solution at 25 C. Use the numerical scheme discussed in class to evaluate the force of repulsion per unit area of charged plate versus distance between the two plates. Plot the dimensionless force versus dimensionless distance between the plates. Compare this result with the results for (i) small potential approximation and (ii) negligible overlap between the two double layers.
