The other man, carrying a package, jumped aboard the car, but was unsteady so the guard reach forward to help him and another guard on the platform pushed him from behind. The package the man was carrying was dislodged and fell onto the rails. In the package were fireworks that exploded. The shock of the explosion caused some scales that to be thrown down. These scales were located approximately 30 feet away at the other end of the train platform. The scales struck Helen causing injuries for which she is suing.
