I want to work on study design for the topic Correlation between malaria cases and severe malnutrition in under 5 children using monthly aggregate data over a 20 month period from 25 health facilities

Other variables available from the routine data include: district name, health facility name, period of reporting, referrals (total and malaria related). The malaria related referrals are used as proxy indicators for severe malaria. We also collecting information for malaria testing rate of suspected malaria cases, total OPD visits, malaria deaths, malaria anaemia.

I need some help with regards the following points:

1)How do I write the study design for such study?

2)Any need for sample size and sampling?

3)Which formula to use for health facility utilization and access?

4)Any sample of a previous work?

5)How do I develop the statistical analysis plan for such analysis specifically using Stata statistical software?

6)How do deal with potential confounders (both collected and not collected information)

7) Best approach to show correlation between the two.

8) Objectives and Hypothesis to test

9) How to present the results and conclusions.
