The goal is to create an image processing algorithm for the purpose of an accurate pest detection system the problem is: 1. The worm is measured to be as small as 1cm 2. The worm comes in white-green color but more or less blends well with the leaves from the naked eye far away 3. The photos of the worms are taken at night with an IP camera equipped with IR cut for night photos as the worms pile up at midnight but leaves at daylight.

What image processing methods can i used?
