One of the most controversial cases of the 21 st century is Citizens United vFEC, 558 US 310 (2010). This case expanded free speech rights to include unlimited political spending by incorporated entities. In Burwell v Hobby Lobby Stores, Inc, 573 US 682 (2014) the Supreme Court ruled incorporated entities even have religious rights. But incorporated entities have had constitutional rights for a very long time. see Buckley v Valeo, 424 US 1 (1976).
