Out of 19 responses to the survey, we were only able to view the first 10. Because of this, we also decided to send the survey to a CYAAR groupme. This C resulted in us making two groups to show the different responses: Group 1 is the TCOM class, representing tables 1-8. Table 1: Answers to "How often do you attend Table 1 shows that 80% of the the CYAAR?' students in our TCOM 2010 course Very Often occasionally do not attend the center, and 20% 20% sometimes visit the center. The surveys were created through an online provider called Survey Monkey and contained the same & questions that were in our Research Proposal document. The purpose for us sending out surveys was to gather information effectively about what improvements could be made to the CYAAR. We felt we could gather information most effectively with this approach and those who participated in the survey remained anonymous. This was considered to be a trade off, we felt if the person's name was highlighted they may have been less inclined to write about personal + issues they struggled with The surveys were sent out to two control groups. The first contained classmates in ICOM 2010, the second contained students who actively participated in CYAAR. As far as the qualifications of the two control groups, the first contained students who were largely unaware of what the CYAAR was, however we felt there could be value in getting 6 of 10 responses from those who could potentially answer questions related to mental health disorders. Their input on issues surrounding mental health was something we considered to be valuable. As for the second group, their qualifications were being active members of the CYAAR. Their input on what they liked didn't like, or felt needed to be changed was highly valuable for our final recommendations. Concerning the questions we used, they were a mix of open ended and multiple choice questions. Initially, the questions that were sent to the TCOM 1020 group were all open ended. There were edits made for the CYAAR group and 5 of the questions were changed to multiple choice to make the survey more streamlined. A total of 24 people responded to the survey but due to financial limitations we could only view 14 of the responses. The plan outlined in the Research Proposal for how the surveys would be conducted deviated in that two control groups were used instead of one. The reason for this change is further highlighted in the results section of this document. + W O + 1:26 PM 4/22/2022 2
