Karman, an accountant for Synergy Corporation, has been suspected of committing fraud. Some information has been gathered about the fraud points to Karman as the most likely perpetrator. In his scheme, Karman supposedly stole more than RM10 mil and over the past five years. Due to the magnitude of the fraud and to set an example for the company, Synergy Corporation decides to prosecute Karman severely both criminal and civil avenue.

a. Briefly discuss FIVE (5) steps in investigating suspected fraud.

b. Describe what will happen to Karman during the civil litigation, including the stages of civil litigation procedure that he and Synergy Corporation will go through. The action that he and Synergy Corporation will go through.

c. Differentiate between sentences under the misappropriation of Synergy Corporation's accounts and criminal breach of trust if Karman is convicted accordingly.
