Hiring and retaining employees has been difficult for Flyer One over the past two years. There has been significant time and effort spent on interviewing and training new hires, and customer satisfaction is at an all-time low due to the constant turnover. As the CEO, you have asked your Chief HR Officer to develop a comprehensive HR strategy to attract a more diverse candidate pool and help retain a higher percentage of current employees. For this assignment, I want you to work with your assigned partners to and complete the following:

• Recommend a specific recruiting strategy, identifying how/where you will recruit to attract a diverse candidate pool. Make sure to justify your recommendations.
• Document specific federal laws and societal influences that need to be considered to develop your recruiting strategy. Which laws and recent workforce changes will have the most impact on your strategy?
• Develop a broad compensation strategy for the entire company, identifying the direct, indirect, and non-financial components that should be used. Please make sure to justify your compensation strategy given your target employee base.
• Detail different diversity challenges that your organization may be facing, recommending specific organizational initiatives (e.g., programs, training, policies, etc.) to help create a climate that values diversity.
