How are people with disabilities treated in Switzerland. Use the following questions as a guide.

1. What types of laws exist that protect people with disabilities? Give a brief history on how these laws were created. If no laws exist, what types of pressures are citizens placing on government to create these protective laws.
2. What is the social stigma associated with people with disabilities? Are there movements within the country that are trying to change the negative social stigma? What are they?
3. Does discrimination exist within employment, housing, education and services? What are some stats? What is being done to try and reduce discrimination?
