For this exercise, choose a home in your neighborhood that is currently on the market, right now, Pretend that you are the listing agent. Please mention the property address so the teacher can look it up. What is the plan? I am looking for a total of several pages of response that at a minimum cover the following topics: 1) How would you keep the sellers informed both before and while the house is on the market? How often do you intend to keep the client informed? What are some of the most important kinds of information to convey both 1) before the home gets listed 2) while it is on the market? 2) Marketing techniques What are some of the most creative and effective marketing systems or techniques that you will use to maximize the property's exposure to buyers? Explain to the sellers why you like these specic systems and techniques. Take a page or two and list at least a half dozen of your favorite systems and techniques. 3) Worth of the property? How will you determine the value of the home you intend to list? Explain how you will arrive at market price. What several other nearby homes are competing with your property? How is your home better or possibly not as good? How will you compensate? At what price will the home become "the best value in the neighborhood?\" This should be about a page r so of reasoning along with any supporting evidence, 4) why should they choose you to list their home with you? What are the most common questions sellers should be asking a potential listing agent? Why do you think these are the half-dozen or so most important questions? 5) Think about otheragents in your marketplace. If you had to hire one of them to list your house, who would you choose and list the reasons why: Copy any of their purported strengths into this assignment. What have they achieved?
