After reading the article, comment view about the importance of California agriculture to the Central Valley, but also to the rest of the USA. What is unique about California agriculture? What alternatives are there for the production of our food? Although we have had rain this winter the drought will likely come again at some point. During times of drought, do you think water should be cut from agriculture and preserved for urban use? Why or why not?
