Hi Student.A null hypothesis and alternative hypothesis are always paired together. The null hypothesis should include equality (equal to, no difference, no change, greater than or equal to, less than or equal to) and the alternative hypothesis should present the alternative (not equal to, difference, change, less than, greater than, respectively). We can either reject or fail to reject the null hypothesis based on evidence, which is not the same as proving the null hypothesis is true.
