I actually recall being in school as well as being a member of a school project group assigned to do a business strategy for a Moving Company. While doing the collaboration, our group had an issue with groupthink. We all pretty much agreed with what one of our team mates proposal without even asking questions or nothing. Now that I think about it, no one investigated any other possibilities nor the weakness with the proposal. It actually resulted in deficiency and definitely restricted our capacity to devise inventive solutions.

What strategies could you use to encourage these behaviors in future group projects, either personally or by influencing your team dynamics?
