Personal Statement Dear Admissions Teacher, Hello, I am XXX who graduated from XXX High School. I would like to apply for the major of Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) Risk and Insurance Management at Lingnan University. Risk and Insurance Management is a major about fundamentals of finance and insurance to the principles of wealth management and ethics, which is helpful for making right decision. In the future, I hope I can apply Risk and Insurance Management knowledge to the field of business, and be competent for professional work in different fields. Lingnan University has the longest established tradition among the local institutions of higher education in Hong Kong. The history of Lingnan University can be dated back to 1888. It has a profound cultural heritage, rich teaching resources, a good academic atmosphere, and has cultivated many outstanding talents for the society. In addition, many teachers at Lingnan University have an international background in academic training and research work, while over 300 exchange students study at Lingnan every year. Therefore, I believe that the university can provide me a study environment with international standards. What's more, teaching in English can broaden my thinking and strengthen my English communication skills.
