I am concerned the number of streaming subscription services (Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, Paramount Plus, etc.) has increased over the last five years, and therefore consumers are paying more for their combined streaming platforms than they would on an average cable package.

Who could care about this problem? Why would they?

Is the statement valid? What additional information do you need to evaluate the problem statement?

What data would you need to collect in order to solve the problem? Is it realistic?

What population would you study, and what would be an appropriate sample size?

What measures (central tendency, range, etc.) or tests (confidence intervals, hypothesis tests, etc.) would you suggest using?

What could be the confounding variables?

What would be the goal conclusion you could draw? How generalizable would you want the solution to be?

How confident do you believe you need to be in your answers?

What method would you use to communicate your results (graphs, table, etc.)

What would be your concerns? What would you do that would make your conclusions stronger? What would you do to make your conclusions weaker?
