Target Market: Individuals in BCIT's target market were interviewed for the qualitative research portion of this project.The target market can be summed up as millennials looking to enrol in a post secondary Business and Media program. Individuals that recently started enrollment in a business program were also considered part of the target market. The research objective was to detail the target market's knowledge and awareness of the various business programs available to them. The research topics discussed: 0 Knowledge of post secondary 3 business programs available to \\ them in BC 0 How BCIT is perceived versus the competition 0 What they look for and value in a business program 0 How are they deciding which program is right for them 0 Awareness of BCIT marketing programs and targeted advertising The interviewees are profiled in detail in the appendix section. Four individuals of the target market were interviewed, one by each member of the research team. Personal contacts were used to recruit the individuals interviewed. The interviews were conducted in person, over the phone or via Zoom. Each sessionm and 20 Industry Professionals: Industry professionals holding a range of Business and Media positions were interviewed for this section. The research objective was to establish how current industry professionals feel about the target market's awareness and perception of BCIT. They were asked to put themselves in the shoes of a target market profile and comment on the following research topics: 0 Knowledge and awareness of BCIT post secondary schools in BC and how they felt BCIT was perceived in relation to the other schools. a What they felt influenced the target market's choice of a business school. 0 Their thoughts on BCIT's marketing activities and how they felt the target market perceives them. 0 Their thoughts on how the perception of BCIT may differ with today's target market versus when they were looking to enter a Business program. The professionals interviewed are detailed in the Appendix. They are all personal contacts of research team members. Four professionals were interviewed. Each session lasted between 15 and 20 minutes and took place either in person, via zoom or over the phone. The interviews were conducted during the week of April 17th.
