I am struggling to decide what form of bivariate hypothesis test would be most appropriate for my research question (The three I was considering is a scatter plot, regression analysis, or a correlation coefficient, but if you have another you would recommend that works too). I would appreciate it if you explained your reasoning so I know where to move from here.

Research Question: To test the theory that a state's percentage of college graduates is positively related to its turnout percentage.
