I am trying to dynamically gab the time from a microchip and create a buffer time for when a door is partially locked or unlocked. I have been given the time it takes for the lock to spin a quarter turn. The problem is the lock isnt fully locked or unlocked all the time, that is why I need to find the buffer time to see if the door is un/locked. The program is coded in C and is using microchip technology.
