I am writing a trial-level brief for class. I want to show that evidence should be admitted because it was obtained through the exigent circumstances exception to the warrantless search requirement. Specifically I want to show that the facts of the case fit the 4 factors the exigent circumstances exception lays out, and make each factor a different subheading. How do I structure the argument of each section then? Do I do Issue/Rule/Analysis/Conclusion for each subheading? I'm confused how to structure a factor based argument.
