I basically don't understand what these three questions are asking, especially h.

  • <2.f. Interpret your confidence interval (constructed in Part 2e) in plain English (that is, with no technical mathematical or statistical language, and referring to the scenario given).>
  • <2.g.Explain whether your confidence interval (constructed in Part 2e) is consistent with the results of your hypothesis test in Part 2c. >
  • <<<2.h.Like all realised confidence intervals, your confidence interval (constructed in Part 2e) is of the form: estimate margin of error. Does the margin of error you calculated include errors due to measurement error (e.g. if the arborist measuring the tree height sometimes wrote down a slightly inaccurate value)? Briefly justify your answer.>>>

What is h meaning ?

I used t-test, and i did CI95%, but i don't understand how to explain as the question wants

The alternative hypothesis has strong evident against the null hypothesis. Given scenario is a magazine said the average tree height is 55m and aborists claimed that the average height is less than 55m.

what i wrote for answers was

2.f. There is 95% confident that the mean of tree height lies between 53.679 and 54.813. Therefore, the average height is lower than 55m as the arborists claimed.

2.g. Our level of certainty about the true mean is 95% in predicting that the true mean is within the interval between 53.679 and 54.813 assuming that the original random variable is normally distributed, and the samples are independent. This is consistent as the confidence interval supports the conclusion from the hypothesis test.

2.h.

where t*=2.035

s= 1.624

n=34

error<-qt(0.975, df=33)*s/sqrt(n) used R, error = 0.567

If the sample size, the n, was large enough, than the margin of error would decrease.

Can you please let me know what i have to write for h?

and would f and g be enough for what i have written?
