I had not fully considered the idea of going outside of the organization to the community members served/impacted by the concepts of equity implemented. I had instead looked at it from the perspective of marginalized individuals within the organization and how the burden is often placed on them to take on the responsibility of engaging and starting conversations about cultural diversity. summary
