I have 3 data sets in an ArcGIS project: 1. a state shapefile 2. stations attribute table with coordinates, and 3. attribute table with amount of precipitation for each station for one year.

I need to create a map showing the average summer (June, July, August) precipitation in Oregon. Hint is to create a new field and calculate the values. How do I go about creating this map? Pictures of the two table are below to help:
